RANGE BOUND=RANGE RUNS 2/17/12

BOT TRADING SYSTEM

WE had a run for a BO at the US Open that ended in a FBO-5.  The bear TL (for a channel) worked as a guide for the shorts, and a play on the range reversal.  On range bound days, the range runs can actually be easier to play than the BOs.

A reversal around 21-22 at the SB began a nice range run for the bulls.  A TL developed.  We did some longs at the mid range to the LB (Long BOT).  PA began a side ways move at the LB in the early PM trading.  The dilemma, the BOTs are set to measure the point where market psychology changes.  It was the EOD, the sun was calling. it's FRIDAY.

For the die hard, the key to entering the S/W at the LB was the bull TL extension and no break of the EMA.  Both positive, and we were at the LB.  By B63-64 the EMA moved into the UTR (upper trading range) by breaking the LB. B66-67 were holding at the TL, the EMA; and the LB that was there first....
